Sky Leap

In this game I worked as a level design, animator and 2D artist, but it was canceled prematurely. Only a few levels and part of the sprites were produced.

Sky Leap

Sky Leap is a pixel art game that tells the story about two cousins who are from a mythological Brazilian species, "ipupiara", where they fight against humans to stop the deforestation of their habitat.
The level and several references are based on Brazilian culture, in addition to the story being a little bit focused on comedy to soften the serious theme it deals with.

Gameplay

The gameplay was based on classics like Super Mario, Sonic and Megaman, however with some additions like spinning in the air to deal damage, double jumping with mid-air dash and wall jumping with dash.
